There aren’t a lot of opportunities to play Slayer and De La Soul in the same DJ set. An indoor bicycle race is one of those opportunities.
I thought I would be able to play some super amped-up Bad Brains jams while the sprints were actually happening; but when two beer-soaked bike geeks start spinning out 50 miles an hour on the plywood stage, the record needle starts dancing around like Michael Jackson.
