Excerpt from “Affidavit, 4/14/09″:
“1. I am a Legal Messenger. I have personal knowledge of the matters contained herein and am competent to testify thereto.
2. …..I had attempted to serve Ms. Dean at 6:30 P.M. at her residence but she was not at home, so Steven Dean accompanied me to the soccer field at Sammamish State Park where he expected his children to be picked up by their mother after soccer practice. When Mr. Dean and I found neither the children nor Ms. Dean at the soccer field, we proceeded to Ms. Dean’s parents’ house, which was empty. Mr. Dean was concerned about the whereabouts of his children and their mother, so we returned again to the residence on 264th pl. SE where we saw that Ms. Dean had returned home. I knocked on the door and heard Ms. Dean’s voice, but no one answered the door, so I continued to knock loudly and persistently. Ms. Dean called the police, who arrived approximately 35 minutes later, at 9:40 p.m. I served Ms. Dean when the police instructed her to open the door, at which point she became irate and began to raise her voice at me. I turned to walk away and Ms. Dean lunged out of the doorway, yelling in a hysterical and threatening way, causing the police officer to physically prevent her from proceeding towards me.
3. I declare under penalty of perjury under the laws of the State of Washington that the foregoing is true and correct:
